at Kessock Equine Vets
Keith Chandler
is the principal veterinary surgeon and owner of Kessock Equine
Veterinary Clinic. Keith is originally from Fife and he qualified
from Glasgow Veterinary School in 1993.

After two years
in general practice, he returned there to undertake specialist training.
After completing his residency he worked for the Sultan of Oman
in the middle east and a racehorse practice in Yorkshire before
returning to Scotland to work at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary
Studies as a lecturer in Equine Medicine. He has published widely
in the veterinary literature and his main interests are: equine
internal medicine, stud medicine and care of the geriatric horse.
Keith also
examines other vets who are sitting specialist exams at the Royal
College of Veterinary Surgeons in London, each autumn. Keith also
serves on the council of the British Equine Veterinary Association
(BEVA), as well as lecturing to other vets throughout the United
Kingdom. He is also a consultant to the Royal Army Veterinary Core,
and the Ministry of Defence’s 500 horses.
